Fullscreen is now working fine, although with the odd hiccup regarding switching of aspect ratios etc (Letterbox, stretch etc). ffdeinterlace is definitely what I need to use, the problem is constructing a gstreamer pipeline that uses the required ClutterSinc and ffdeinterlace. I haven't looked at the problem for a little while, but I think I now know a little more about gstreamer so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. @Zaheer Merali
